Rocket League is a free-to-play game where you play football with cars. Those who may have finally decided to give this game a try by playing a couple of matches or returning players who have not played for a long time may end up wondering about the Blueprint reward they’ve just received after completing an online match.
Blueprints can help players craft completely new items. Blueprints in Rocket League provide players with information about an item, and players can craft it using Credits.
Players obtain Credits by spending money to get the virtual currency. Blueprints tell you exactly what item you’ll receive upon crafting. This system replaced Crates back in 2019, which were opened using Keys. You may also earn some unrevealed Blueprints, and you can check the exact item a Blueprint will offer without using any Credits.
What is trade-in?
Ever since Rocket League developers removed the player-to-player trading feature, there is only one choice left for many players to deal with their duplicated or unwanted items. Trade-in refers to an in-game feature in Rocket League where players can dump any 5 unwanted items of the same rarity, and they will receive one item in return. This random item is one tier rarer than the submitted items. Players can trade-in core items, tournament items, and also Blueprints, and once the items are traded in, they are removed from your inventory.
How to trade-in items in Rocket League
- On the main menu, select Garage
- Choose Trade-in
- Choose the item type and rarity you want to trade-in
- Select 5 items to trade-in and choose Accept
You can repeat this process if you have at least 5 eligible items in the rarity you’ve picked. Players can also trade-in the items that they receive from previous trade-ins. If there is any item in your inventory that is marked favourite, it will not appear in the trade-in tab. So, if there’s any item you don’t want to accidentally add for trade-in, make sure you mark them as favourites in your inventory.
