The new gacha mobile game Reverse: 1999 is finally here. Like any gacha game, players may be looking to reroll their initial pulls until they get a start they are satisfied with. Unfortunately, Reverse: 1999 does not make the process easy. We’ve put together this Reverse: 1999 Reroll Guide to help players do what they can to reroll efficiently and get a good start quickly.
How to reroll in Reverse: 1999
As we said above, unfortunately, Reverse: 1999 does not make it easy to reroll. While some games have a built-in feature to do so, Reverse: 1999 actually has systems in place that make the process more difficult. The actual process is different based on your platform. So, we have put the methods of rerolling for each platform below.
Reverse: 1999 PC client reroll guide
If you are on PC, rerolling is straight forward, but a pain in the butt. First you will want to choose the Guest Account option until you know which one you are sticking with. Then, follow the following steps:
- Create a Guest Account.
- Play through Reverse: 1999 story until you clear Stage 1-4.
- Claim the Pre-Register rewards from your Mail, which will give you 11 pulls.
- If you are a fan of the “Sotheby and A Knight” banner, use your 11 pulls on it. If not, pull on “The First Drop of Rain” with these pulls.
- Like your pulls? Great! Move onto Step 7. Otherwise, move onto Step 6.
- It’s time to reroll. To properly start over, you will need to completely close out of the game, uninstall it, and then reinstall the whole game. Like I said, not fun. Once you reinstall, open the game and choose Guest Account again and it should be a fresh account. At this point, start at Step 1 again.
- Keep playing the story. You will get 10 more Unilogs at Level 3, and another 10 at Level 5. This will give you enough for 20 more pulls, which will you get to 30 by pulling on “The First Drop of Rain” banner.
- This banner has a pity of 30, so you will be guaranteed a 6* character. If you are happy with your pulls so far, congrats! Register your account so you save it. If not, go back to Step 5.
Reverse: 1999 Mobile (Android/iOS) reroll guide
Playing on mobile doesn’t require you to completely install, but it’s pretty annoying as well. In summary you will have to use an e-mail for each new account in order to reroll. However, if you are using a Gmail account, you can actually utilize Salting. Basically, Gmail allows you to put a ‘+’ in your e-mail with anything after it, which Reverse: 1999 will continue a new email. But, it will still come to your main Gmail. So, if your e-mail is destructoidfan@gmail.com, you can then use destructoidfan+1@gmail.com to make a second account. Here are the total steps:
- Create a Guest Account.
- Play through Reverse: 1999 story until you clear Stage 1-4.
- Claim the Pre-Register rewards from your Mail, which will give you 11 pulls.
- If you are a fan of the “Sotheby and A Knight” banner, use your 11 pulls on it. If not, pull on “The First Drop of Rain” with these pulls.
- Like your pulls? Great! Move onto Step 6. Otherwise, move onto Step 5.
- It’s time to reroll. Bind this Guest Account to an e-mail address. Start with youremail+1@gmail.com. Next time you get to this step, do youremail+2@gmail.com and so on.
Bind your account so you save it. If not, go back to Step 5.
Hopefully with this Reverse: 1999 Reroll Guide you will eventually be able to get the ideal start you are looking for. Even though it can be annoying to reroll in this gacha game, it’s still often worth doing!
