All the leaks were spot-on: ReCore is getting a Definitive Edition. During Xbox’s gamescom live event, a new retail release for ReCore was confirmed for August 29.

The Definitive Edition contains the inclusion of the fifth robot frame that was missing from the original release. However, standard edition owners will receive the DLC for free. This is welcome news for anyone who bought the game last year, as the missing tank robot felt more like content ripped out from launch rather than content added after the fact.

Also mentioned is that ReCore Definitive Edition is coming to Xbox Game Pass next month. For anyone who’s wary of buying, that might be a nice way to rent instead.
