Gearbox head Randy Pitchford recently had a tease in mind when asked about potential Borderlands 2 DLC themes. “I’ve always wanted to ride a sail barge and drive a Sand Skiff. I’ve always wanted to do that, and we’ve got some cool stuff that’s along those lines.” Return of the Jedi-lands confirmed?
If you’re foaming at the mouth for DLC, you can buy the Season Pass now for $30, which includes the four planned DLCs, set to release by June 2013. Keep in mind that any potential DLC after that point will most likely not be included in the pass, and the Mechromancer is also not included in said pass.
Personally, I wasn’t a fan of any of the first game’s DLC outside of General Knoxx, so I’m a bit weary here on dropping $30. Thankfully, Pitchford explained at the PAX Gearbox panel that the upcoming DLC packs would be more in-line with Knoxx than anything else, so that gives me hope.
