Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown roadmap includes new modes and story DLC

The journey doesn't end

Ubisoft has shared a post-launch roadmap for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and players have a lot to look forward to. The wait isn’t long, either, with the first update arriving in just a matter of days.

Let’s look at what’s on the way:

  • “Warrior’s Path” – March 20
  • “Boss Attack” – Spring 2024
  • “Divine Trials” – Summer 2024
  • New Story DLC – Later in 2024

Spring 2024

The first free update is set to drop on March 20. Officially dubbed “Warrior’s Path”, this update includes two new play modes – Permadeath and Speedrun. There will be four new outfits for Sargon, so there’s plenty to look forward to in this update alone.

Following that, there will be another free update, although this one has a less solid release time frame. Coming in Spring 2024, the “Boss Attack” update will bring Boss Rush mode to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown as well as more outfits for Sargon.

Summer 2024

Later in the year, there will be two more updates, beginning with one in Summer 2024 called “Divine Trials”, which will bring new Combat, Puzzle and Platform challenges to sink your teeth into. Also included in this update will be some new Amulets, yet more outfit choices for Sargon, and further items that have not yet been detailed.

Later in 2024

The last update of the year is potentially the most exciting of all. Later on in 2024, although we don’t know when yet, there will be a new story DLC for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. This DLC looks to be a paid DLC, though there is no confirmation of a price point as of yet. Hopefully this expands on the story of Sargon, but we’ll have to wait and see what’s on the way as time goes on.
