nWay is finally ready to bring its tag fighting title Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid to the PC platform, following its release earlier this year on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Battle for the Grid has been slowly drip-feeding content since hit first hit the scene back in March, and has received a story mode, challenges, and a selection of new characters taken from across the many franchises within the Power Rangers canon. The PC release will launch with a standard edition for around $20, while the deluxe edition will offer three DLC characters (Gold Zeo Ranger, Pink Time Force Ranger and the notorious Lord Zedd) along with a selection of alternate skins for around $40.

Reviewed back in April I found Battle for the Grid to be a colourful, capable and enjoyable fighting title, that suffered from poor stage design and was hampered by its low budget which, while not having an adverse effect on gameplay, stifled its true potential as a “Best Of” Power Rangers experience. Fans should definitely check it out however, as the mechanics are sound.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid launches on PC via Steam September 24. It is available now on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
