There are loads of new ex Pokémon to pick up, as well as interesting ACE Spec cards that continue to bring a new twist to the game.

Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet – Surging Sparks set information
The Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet – Surging Sparks set has some incredibly rare cards for you to find if you’re cracking packs. These include the following.
- 8 ACE SPEC cards
- 8 Stellar Tera Pokémon ex and nine Tera Pokémon ex
- 23 Illustration Rare Pokémon
- 11 special Illustration Rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
- 6 hyper rare Gold Etched cards
The aim of this set is to bring even more Stellar Tera ex Pokémon to the TCG. These are some of the best-looking cards I’ve ever seen in the game, so I’m excited to see what’s been cooked up for the entire set when it’s finally in my hands.
The cards that tend to gain value are the Illustration Rares and, of course, those Gold Etched cards. Trainer cards are also some of the most expensive from past sets, so if you’re looking to boost the value of your collection, those are the ones to pick up or trade for.
Where to buy the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet – Surging Sparks set
The best place to purchase the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet and Violet – Surging Sparks set is your local game store. Supporting these stores helps keep physical TCG events alive and boosts your local economy, which is sorely needed these days. However, if your only option is to purchase online, I have a few suggestions for you below.
- Pokémon Center Online (Worldwide): Pokémon Centre Online is the most reliable retailer for the Pokémon TCG. You can grab all the products you want while they’re in stock, and this store always has something extra. For example, the ETB for this set includes a limited edition stamped card and box. The only downside is that this retailer is a tad on the expensive side.
- Chaos Cards (US & UK): Chaos Cards is another great retailer with prices so low that it’s to your detriment. Products here sell out ridiculously fast, so get your pre-orders in quickly because it won’t be holding the stock you’re after for long.
- Magic Madhouse (US & UK): Magic Madhouse is a great and very reliable retailer. I use this one the most for my goods. They deliver on time and have great prices that are always in line with what you’d expect. The best way to order from Magic Madhouse is to get your pre-orders in as soon as possible to keep the costs low.
- Amazon (Worldwide): Amazon is a fantastic retailer for getting your TCG products quickly and efficiently. I’ve used it before for my needs, but I do think the prices rise much faster than you may notice. Especially as you get closer to the launch date of a set.
