[Update: The code has officially been unveiled! Input “0C1CV1CT0RGAV1N” into the mystery gift menu of the game to get Palafin in a Cherish Ball. You have through April 17 to claim it!]

We have yet another Pokemon Scarlet & Violet distribution on the horizon, and this one is already technically included in the game: Palafin. As you may know, acquiring Palafin in Scarlet & Violet is done by evolving Finizen at level 38 while using the (online) Union Circle system. Some folks haven’t done this yet (or are unable to), so perhaps this distribution will help!

Here’s the full tweet from the Play Pokemon Twitter account:

“Tune in for the 2023 European International Championships live stream starting April 14th for some fantastic #PokemonVG & #PokemonTCG gifts! Learn how to add Palafin to your team roster and Miraidon ex to your digital Pokémon TCG collection.”

The accompanying news article has a bit more info on how it’ll actually be distributed, and a confirmation that it’s based on competitive Pokemon player Gavin Michael’s Palafin:

Wait for the password to appear during the 2023 EUIC broadcast, then go to the Mystery Gift feature in your game and enter the password to receive Gavin Michaels’ Palafin—you can even add it to your next competitive team! This password can only be used once per save data.”

So that’s it! Wait for the code to arrive and enter it. Seems easy enough! We’ll update you when that time comes. Until then, you can find all the info you need on the Palafin itself below.
