Squirtle Squad represent
I’m of the opinion that all Pokémon, no matter how big or small or useless they are, should wear sunglasses. But if there’s one particular pocket monster destined to rock shades, it’s gotta be Squirtle.
The spirit of the Squirtle Squad lives on this weekend. By participating in Field Research tasks during Community Day on July 8, Pokémon Go players can nab a Squirtle with sunglasses.
The limited-time event runs from 11:00am to 2:00pm Pacific with bonuses like 1/4 egg hatching distance and three-hour lures. There’s also an exclusive move for Blastoise: Hydro Cannon.
