Pokemon Black and White: Two million sales in the US

After pulling in more than one million sales in the States on day one, Pokemon Black and White are seeing continued success. Who could’ve guessed? The people really like them some moving sprites and the new focus on only fresh Pokemon pre-Elite Four.

Nintendo of America has taken to Twitter (I’m as surprised as you are) to announce that Game Freak’s latest pair of titles has surpassed two million sales in two weeks. Very nice. As far as I am concerned, this is totally deserved — White is probably my second favorite core game in the series.

Nicely done, Game Freak. Cue the badass end-credits theme.
