Who watches the Watch Dogs?
Sony Interactive Entertainment has updated its PlayStation Plus catalog, bringing a new selection of titles to Extra and Premium tier members of the paid subscription service. What’s up for grabs in September 2022? Read on, dear viewer, and I’ll regale you with the goodness.
All PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium users can check out a pretty durn violent catalog of modern classics, including Arkane Studio’s chrono-killer Deathloop, the urban jungle of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs 2, and Egyptian adventure Assassin’s Creed Origins — also from Ubisoft. Slightly less murder-oriented are the wholesome indie releases Chicory: A Colorful Tale, and sea-faring adventure Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition. Check out the full list below.
- Deathloop (PS5)
- Assassin’s Creed Origins (PS4)
- Watch Dogs 2 (PS4)
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (PS4)
- Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition (PS4)
- Chicory: A Colorful Tale (PS4)
- Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 5 (PS4, PS5)
- Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX (PS4, PS5)
- Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show (PS4)
- Rayman Legends (PS4)
- Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition (PS4)
Additionally, the “Classics” catalog has been updated, offering up some new/old titles for PlayStation Plus Premium users. These include 989 Studios’ excellent stealth adventure Syphon Filter 2, and a full-on anthro-fest in the form of The Sly Collection and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. European players take note, as Syphon Filter 2 includes the option to switch between 50/60hz, so you can play it slow af, as we all experienced here in Blighty for many decades of gaming.
- Syphon Filter 2 (PS1)
- The Sly Collection (PS3)
- Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS3)
- Bentley’s Hackpack (PS3)
- Toy Story 3 (PSP)
- Kingdom of Paradise (PSP)
Don’t forget, current PlayStation Plus freebies Granblue Fantasy: Versus, Need for Speed HEAT, and Toem: A Photo Adventure, are all still available to download for all PlayStation Plus users.
