Play Minesweeper in the most obtuse way possible – a Windows 98 OS emulator

Go go PC preservation

Yo dawg…

So someone got the bright idea to program a Windows 98 emulator. It literally recreates an old-school PC experience, with custom parameters and Linux options for those of you who want to experiment. Freecell, Hearts (the best one, come at me), Solitaire, and Minesweeper are also playable, if you want that video game angle. Oh, and try the Sheep executable (app?) — you’ll thank me later.

In all seriousness, I love that people are preserving old tech like this. Remembering our history is important, and that extends to computers as well.
