Dancing all night!
Atlus has announced that Persona 5 will be adapted into a stage play for Japanese audiences. Going under the name of Persona 5: The Stage, this live-action retelling follows in the footsteps of both Persona 3 and 4 as a new vision of the beloved story. Penned by Hideyuki Nishimori (known for his work on Danganronpa 3 The Stage), the show is set to run from December 13-15, 2019 in Osaka and Tokyo.
The plot will be a retelling of the events in the game and will follow Joker — played by Hiroki Ino — and his band of Phantom Thieves as they utilize the powers of their Personas to steal the hearts of corrupted adults to help them change their ways. There is also plenty of high school drama and dungeon crawling, which are series staples.
