It’s been at least six or so days since I got to write about a Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers video, and frankly, I was starting to get cold sweats. Fortunately, Atlus has come through with what is the musou-like’s third official trailer – provided you don’t can’t the intro movie, character trailers, Morgana Reports, and live streams.

The trailer blends both cinematic and gameplay footage from the new adventure, which is just one day away from being in the hands of Japanese audiences. This video mostly focuses on new characters Sophia and Zenkichi Hasegawa and, while they’ve all been presented out of context, appears to be a little spoilery for my tastes, Atlus has never been one for “less is more” when it comes to any element of the Persona franchise.

Persona 5 Scramble sees the return of The Phantom Thieves, as they travel across Japan in their chunky R.V. righting many wrongs along the way. Though the gameplay seems reminiscent of the beloved Warriors titles, the distinct Persona 5 style shines through with aplomb.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers launches in Japan on PS4 and Switch February 20. We are yet to hear of a release date for a western localisation.
