Keep these management sims coming

Recommended Videos

With the reveal of Parkasaurus this week, I’m now keeping tabs on two separate dinosaur management sims (the other being Frontier’s Jurassic World Evolution). That makes me ridiculously happy.

Parkasaurus is all about designing your park to best suit your dinosaurs’ needs and your paying customers’ preferences, as tends to be the way. If and when any of the attractions “accidentally” get loose and start a ruckus, you’ll be able to put them to sleep in a first-person shooter mode.

In terms of building exhibits, “each dinosaur requires a unique biosphere, which means the shape of exhibit, materials used, ecology, plants, elevation and humidity all play a key role in whether the Dinos, and the park, thrive…or become extinct.”

WashBear is aiming for a spring 2018 release on Steam Early Access. If all goes to plan, the game will have about a six- to eight-month run before it sees a full launch on PC. Looks pretty darn cute.
