If you’re looking for a good region to explore in Palworld, Fisherman’s Point is a decent choice, with multiple merchants, Lifmunk Effigies, and teleport points to help you reach Mount Obsidian. However, some challenges require preparation before making the trek here.
Fisherman’s Point location in Palworld
Fisherman’s Point is located on the bottom-left side of the map, directly south of Mount Obsidian, at coordinates (-478, -743). The easiest way to get here early on if you’re traveling from the Plateau of Beginning is to travel southwest until you see Mount Obsidian before turning south and moving along the coastline. That way, you won’t be affected by the heat.
Since you have to travel over water to reach this region, having a flying mount such as Nitewing, Vanwyrm, or Quivern will help make a beeline toward Fisherman’s Point. Since Mount Obsidian is a hot area, bring heat-resistant armor if you dive deeper into the region. Otherwise, if your sole destination is Fisherman’s Point, you won’t have to worry about this, as this town is much cooler in temperature than the island’s center.
Once you arrive at Fisherman’s Point, you’ll find a fast-travel statue, multiple merchants, and a few Lifmunk Effigies to collect. The coordinates I gave above will lead you directly to the fast-travel spot. Otherwise, there are a few other noteworthy places to explore:
- A Lifmunk Effigy inside a small hut on the town’s east side.
- A second Lifmunk Effigy along Fisherman’s Point’s southern piers.
- A Pal Merchant directly northwest of the pier Lifmunk Effigy.
- Two Wandering Merchants, one in the town square and another directly east of the square, next to some wooden crates.
Each merchant has different items you can purchase, depending on which you visit. While the town square Wandering Merchant sells schematics, gun ammo, and heat-resistant items, the one east of this spot sells skill fruit, high-quality Pal oil, and various produce.
