No Man’s Sky team acknowledges a ‘number of issues,’ patch incoming

Also a new QA team

No Man’s Sky is a massive game, and thus, it’s susceptible to massive bugs.

Hello Games acknowledges this fact in a blog post, noting that they’ve been tracking “a number of issues,” and are already making strides to solve them. For starters they’ve hired a new QA team, which is larger than the development squad, to help out the Sony QA team. There will also be a patch in the “near future” to address some of these problems, as well as implementing a ticketing system for user support.

Creator Sean Murray also reminds us that you can revert back to your two previous saves in the options menu if you get stuck, you can summon your ship from landing pads or beacons, and that you can jetpack forever while you’re pressed against a surface.

I’m looking forward to some of the bigger content additions eventually (which Murray says will be free) like base building, but there are a lot of fundamental flaws that will be tougher to address.
