The cult classic Killer Queen is breaking free from the arcades that it was restricted to. First revealed at E3 2018, multiplayer party game Killer Queen Black is headed to homes next month.

Developer Liquid Bit has finally nailed down a release date for Killer Queen Black. It’s leaves the hive on October 11. It’ll launch on Switch, and PC through both Steam and Discord for $20; an Xbox port is planned, but no date has been finalized. (Actually, earlier this month, Liquid Bit announced that it’s looking for contractors to help with the Xbox version, so work on that likely hasn’t really started yet.)

Killer Queen Black is an eight-player game that’s made up of two teams of four players. On Switch, two consoles can support all eight people in local wireless play. PC, however, will require everyone to own the game. Steam and Humble will run a deal that grants four copies for $60 — ostensibly allowing a full team to form with a $5 discount for each person.
