Nintendo DLC: BIT.TRIP RUNNER, Bingo, and Rival Turf

I went to a Bingo hall once. It smelled like beans and old people. Concrete floors, fluorescent lights, moaning — it was like a dream. I’ve been dreaming of reliving that experience ever since, and now I can with WiiWare release Bingo Party Deluxe. I’m kidding. I’m sure this 500 Wii Point, 1-4 player party game is much more fun than my past experience. There’s 75- and 90-ball Bingo modes for up to four players, and a Bingo Party mode that has you unlocking new boards.

BIT.TRIP RUNNER has a demo this week, and if you like it you can put up 800 Wii Points to get the full version of this race across the moon. This is the fourth entry in the BIT.TRIP series. Electric music group Anamanaguchi makes a guest appearance in this one.

The Virtual Console has SNES game Rival Turf! this week for 800 Wii Points. This is a classic two-player brawler by Jaleco. If you aren’t familiar with this game you might enjoy this robo-voiced video review/commentary. I lol’d. Also: Worst. Ending. Ever.

Finally, DSiWare has two games. Anonymous Notes Chapter 2 – From the Abyss is a 200 DSi Point action-RPG dungeon crawl. Ikibago (500 points) is a puzzle game where you’re looking for lost treasure in a match-three style game. The twist here is traps mixed in the 121 missions. Picture Perfect Pocket Stylist is a portable hairdresser. 500 DSi Points lets you invent new hairstyles for cartoon characters!

Aside from the hairdresser game, which you’ve probably already bought, what else are you getting this week?
