It was a good day when Australia’s R18+ rating was passed for videogames, paving the way for adults to purchase games that might have previously either been edited for content or refused classification. The action title received the R18+ rating for “violence that is high in impact because of its frequency, high definition graphics, and emphasis on blood effects,” according to director of the classification board Lesley O’Brien.
