Nightingale’s Early Access release date is swiftly approaching. With this comes questions of where you can play it, its cost, and what to expect while playing. Inflexion Games predicts Nightingale’s Early Access period will last nearly a year, with plans to introduce new features and fixes over time.
When is the Nightingale Early Access release date?
Nightingale‘s Early Access release is on February 20, 2024. Priced at $29.99, Nightingale is a PC exclusive available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. While initially planned to launch on February 22, its release date moved up two days, with no further plans for delay.
During Nightingale’s Early Access period, we’ll see numerous features, including multiple realms and biomes, various passive and hostile creatures, and a developed progression system. However, Inflexion has more features planned for release as the game evolves. It will also be unavailable on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, but this may change in the future.
Nightingale features and gameplay
Nightingale is an open-world survival game where you’ll explore various realms, collect resources, and battle against enemies. By playing solo or with up to five other players, you’ll venture around the world, discover new materials, and work toward creating a powerful base to defeat any bosses you find and discover the city of Nightingale. You’ll find a mix of passive and Apex creatures who can give you important resources to help you progress.
While part of this is gathering materials to build structures and repair portals to explore new realms, you’ll come across other features, such as Realm Cards, that act as crucial progression mechanics. Some cards influence enemy and passive creature types in your realm, while others change their landscape, temperature, and day-night cycles.
Inflexion Games also continues to update the community on the game’s state and current features through sources like their official YouTube channel and social media platforms. There have also been opportunities for stress tests and hands-on previews for Nightingale, highlighting some of its strong and weak points while diving into potential ideas for the future.
