Alongside the global release
Feeling a bit hesitant about lacing up your high-top Nikes and returning to the virtual hardwood? It’s tough to blame you; a lot can go wrong when you step on that virtual court. You might pull a virtual Kevin Ware and shatter your virtual leg in one of the most gruesome virtual accidents anyone’s ever seen.
Fortunately, NBA Live 14 will let you ease into it slowly, if you’d like. On November 19, a demo is releasing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so potential consumers can give the no-longer defunct basketball franchise the ol’ college try. Well, PS4 owners can; those that are getting Xbox Ones have to wait until the console’s actually out.
The demo will include a full game with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Knicks, and Golden State Warriors being available teams. Also available are five Big Moments in which the player tries to recreate real life performances, and a few Live Ultimate Team fantasy challenges.
