I always love it when a company releases content for a new platform and doesn’t half-ass the process. Valve has been pretty fantastic with their launch of Steam for Mac. While far from perfect, Valve is at least ready to get more content on the distribution service.
Available today is the second round of Mac launch titles of about a dozen products. Games like Sam and Max: The Devils Playhouse Episode 2, Hearts of Iron 3, as well as cross-platform multiplayer titles like Killing Floor, Altitude, and Madballs in Babo: Invasion round out many of these new additions. While not exactly the most exciting new additions to the service, Killing Floor, Altitude and Madballs in Babo: Invasion are all on sale for a short time, so if those titles seem interesting, you might want to pick them up.
While not exactly the most exciting set of ports, Valve promises to have even more titles available for Mac next week. Now, what is it you are looking forward to Mac? Is there something that is currently unavailable that you want to see? Or would you like Valve to make it so that it would be less buggy?
