NeoGAF has four large screens from Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise for you to check out, and if you couldn’t tell from the above shot, there’s a new animal for your viewing pleasure. Crabs are awesome, and I’m glad to see that Rare is giving them the recognition they deserve … and I am sure you can guess the likely name that this little fellow is going to have.
To me, Viva Piñata is easily one of the most gorgeous-looking games to have ever come out of this generation, and it’s great that Rare is continuing this tradition in the sequel. The game is vibrant, colorful and lively, far more beautiful than the greys and browns and pass for “realism” these days.
Head on over to The GAF and check them out. I’m really starting to look forward to this one.
