A new trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn was just unveiled at Tokyo Game Show today, and we now have an English version to share with you. It’s a lovely trailer, just as you’d expect from Square Enix, but how is the game?
A new XIV awaits, the trailer says. The word so far on A Realm Reborn is that it’s good. No, really. I’ve heard rumors that the first time around the game was pushed out prematurely, and that the team was disappointed in the final product. We all know how that turned out. But now that they’ve gone back in for this ‘rebirth’ the team behind it is actually pleased with what they have going here. I hear they’re actually excited. And that’s a good sign.
