New content is coming to Stardew Valley alongside the multiplayer update

What’s another six months of my life?

I best remember Stardew Valley as the game that consumed most of my free time in 2016, and it tried once more when it launched on Switch. We already knew a big update adding multiplayer was coming soon, but it looks like there will be a little bit more to it than that. 

Stardew creator Eric Barone announced on Twitter today that the multiplayer update would also include some new content that would affect single player.

I’m working on some new Stardew Valley content, to be released with the upcoming free multiplayer update. This will affect single-player, too! I’ll share more when the release gets closer. Though I’ll keep some things secret (more fun) pic.twitter.com/rgWCt8IIRi

No word on what exactly this content could be, but Barone promised to share more as the update gets closer. I might be dreaming too big, but a new mine and some additional crops would be more than enough to suck me back in.
