Microsoft Flight Simulator is crossing over with Halo Infinite in a new add-on that lets players pilot a Pelican, and it’s out today, for free. While the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase was mostly focused on the game’s 40th Anniversary Edition due out in November (with helicopters and gliders), the iconic USNC aircraft got all of the attention.

Circling back to the new edition, Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition is tapping into nostalgia as a “comprehensive celebration of the franchise” and a “tribute to past editions,” according to Xbox. Apart from newly added helicopters and gliders, the developers also confirmed the Spirit of St. Louis and a “true-to-life” Airbus A310.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition will be playable for free if you already have the base game or you’re a Game Pass subscriber on Xbox Series X/S or PC.
