Fallout 4
Microsoft’s wrapping up its week of Xbox One holiday bundle announcements with a bang, not a whimper. Fallout 4 is the last package, and it’s probably the one that most fans clamored for. Well played, Microsoft.
The Fallout 4 bundle comes with an Xbox One console with a 1TB hard drive, Fallout 4, and Fallout 3 (which will be backward compatible and able to be played on Xbox One sometime in the future). The price is set at a respectable $399 — that’s usually how much the system with an upgraded hard drive would cost.
All of this becomes available on November 10 when Fallout 4 releases. It seems as if most retailers should have it. Amazon already has pre-orders up. Others are likely to follow.
We’ve seen ups and downs over the course of this week. That Tomb Raider bundle and the Gears of War/Rare Replay/Ori set looked real good, as does this Fallout 4 offering. The likes of the Kinect bundle were a bit dismal. Still, Microsoft did its job in trying to appeal to several distinct tastes across six bundles.
