‘Thugged out pussy’
“[B]ecause this cat identifies as a hipster,” so says Edmund McMillen.
Team Meat’s (Super Meat Boy) upcoming cat lady sim, Mew-Genics, has been spiraling towards more and more additions, according to the development blog, faster than a cat collection loses control and consumes your life. That’s feline by me.
Kittens are born with types, “from lazy to sexy, from passive to psychotic.” Further, cats will “identify” with certain objects (among the hundreds of possibilities) and these objects, like a mustache or a board with nails sticking out of it, will change the cat’s stats.
Rare, powerful identification with an object can cause a mutation, like the cat that identified with the Super Meat Boy plush and took on the character’s facial features. Mutations, unlike object identification, can be passed down to kittens. The post also hints the next update will talk about birth defects and genetic diseases.
Mew-Genics is purrfectly ridiculous and I need it. I need all the cats.
