Joining Cave Story’s Quote and Psychonauts’s Razputin

Yesterday saw the announcement of Quote and Razputin, the first two of seven all-star DLC characters for Bit.Trip Presents Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien. Today we’ve been treated to two more reveals, the evil Dr. Fetus from Super Meat Boy, and Josef, the lovable robotic protagonist from Machinarium (and also Super Meat Boy).

We’re still waiting to hear if these characters will play differently than the default cast of Runner2, but regardless, I will not be able to resist the opportunity to scroll through a player select screen that features Quote, Dr. Fetus, and fish with man legs and bulging underwear. It’s just something I have to do with my life.

Due to today’s reveals, I want to revise my predictions for who will be revealed tomorrow. I’m betting on Slender Man now instead of Meat Boy. How about you? Who do you think will be the next to join the flat-out run of the rhythm alien?
