Music4Games continues their list of stellar interviews with the people behind great game music with this new interview with the composers of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams.
They talk with Tomoko Sasaki and Naofumi Hataya about the Wii title’s musical score, and touch on how the quality of it has been upgraded from the original NiGHTS title for the Sega Saturn. Luckily, you don’t have to take their word on it, as Music4Games has a couple of samples from the score availble within the interview.
Composer Hataya gives a message to fans of the NiGHTS series:
“To the fans of the previous series, thank you for waiting for such a long time. During the composition, I have been playing the game objectively as a representative of the NiGHTS-loving fans. This is a great game I can truly recommend regardless of whether you’re familiar with the previous version or not.”
