Saving one of the coolest videos for the end of the Gamescom week, Nintendo has released a near 30-minute gameplay overview for its spooky sequel, Luigi’s Mansion 3, coming to Switch on October 31; Halloween, suitably enough.

In the video, we get to see the greener Mario Brother make his way through a new locale filled with ghosts, ghoulies and other weird creatures. Armed with his trusty Poltergust, Luigi has a range of moves and abilities that can be used to adapt the environment around him to help him on his way. Here in the botanical gardens, Luigi encounters a flower-watering custodian, and uses the light from his torch to cause plants to bloom into cascades of coins.

Not alone on his supernatural quest, Luigi is joined later in the video by his jelly-like doppelganger Gooigi, as Luigi’s Mansion 3 shows off some of its co-op multiplayer gameplay. The video is presided over by hosts, which blocks the sound and immersion somewhat, but it’s a safe bet to suggest that Luigi’s Mansion 3 is looking good, and sure to recreate the fun of the GameCube and 3DS classics.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 launches on Nintendo Switch October 31.
