‘Limited Edition’ Medal of Honor packs heat

Electronic Arts has announced that a “Limited Edition” version of its upcoming Medal of Honor will be available at launch.

The “Limited Edition” doesn’t come with any fancy packaging or collectible, instead giving players access to exclusive in-game weapons. Those who purchase this edition get the MP7, a “unique weapon utilized by Tier 1 Operators in the field.” Additionally, they’ll get day-one access to weapons others would have to rank up in order to get — the TOZ-194 and the 870MC2 shotguns.

EA is selling the “Limited Edition” at its online store for the same price as the standard copy; go get it or something. The game is out on October 12 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
