Like a Dragon: Ishin – All Digital Deluxe Edition pre-order bonuses

Here’s all the goodies you get for a little more

Like a Dragon: Ishin is officially out on February 21, but if you pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition, it’s here much sooner. An early release date is one of the perks the Deluxe Edition provides, alongside several others to help Sakamoto Ryoma on his quest for vengeance.

The Digital Deluxe Edition is available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. This version runs a little extra, coming in at $69.99 rather than $59.99. Part of that edition means getting a few days’ early access, with copies going live February 17 rather than 21.

Apart from some early playtime, here’s what else the extra $10 gets you in the Ishin Digital Deluxe package.

What’s in the Like a Dragon: Ishin Digital Deluxe edition?

  • Shinsengumi Captain’s Set
  • Ryoma Growth Support Kit
  • Sword Upgrade Materials Kit
  • Gun Upgrade Materials Kit
  • Third Division Armament Expansion Kit
  • The Dragon of Dojima Skin

These are largely just items you could accrue in the course of playing Like a Dragon: Ishin, though picking up some extra crafting materials and saving the time might be worth it for impatient players.

This also packs in the Dragon of Dojima skin though, letting Ryoma take on the look of his supposed descendant Kazuma Kiryu. And let’s be honest, that’s a really good bonus.

Meanwhile, other DLC for Ishin is available, separate from the Digital Deluxe edition. Namely, the celebrity cameos from the likes of Kenny Omega and Rahul Kohli are free DLC, and available to download for Ishin players everywhere.

Whether the extras are worth the $10 or not is your call. But I will say you should probably grab the Trooper Cards, as in my experience, those are well worth having when the fights get frantic.
