Light Switch Mansion all secrets in Super Mario Bros. Wonder

I hate haunted houses!

Super Mario Bros. Wonder

I don’t know about you, but I despise haunted houses, and that goes doubly so in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. That’s because of all the fiends and ne’er do wells in Mario’s rogues gallery, the Boos are among my least favorite. But, they’re thankfully not as much of a pain here as they normally are.

In any case, you’ll need to deal with these ghostly ghouls if you’re gonna nab all the 10-Flower Coins and secret Wonder Seeds hidden away in the Light Switch Mansion. In this guide, we’ll help you clear this level with ease and move on to the other untouched levels in the final act of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. So, without further ado, let’s get started.

So, the first concept you’ll need to master here is being aware of invisible blocks and pathways. I don’t believe there are many instances where you’ll accidentally fall to your doom if you’re not aware of them, but they will slow you down if you’re not expecting them, and it’ll make this level more annoying.

In several areas, you’ll find light switches that will turn the lights on for a few seconds, clearing the area of Boos. Get rid of the Boos in this area and go through the door to enter the next area. In the second area, climb the broken stairs and hit the light switch. Proceed forward and the first 10-Flower Coin will be within sight, though you’ll need the lights to be active to see the invisible blocks you need to climb.

In the next area, you’ll see a whole lot of doors. I won’t lie to you — some of these doors are doors, but some of them are mimics, so test each door and dispatch any mimics you come across. In time, you’ll come across a door that leads to the background layer, where you can maneuver across the invisible blocks to reach the second 10-Flower Coin.

After nabbing the second 10-Flower Coin, proceed forward until you arrive at the area with multiple moving platforms. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you hear a talking flower cheering about how much they love the “ride” that is the moving platforms. At the third moving platform, you’ll see the third 10-Flower Coin floating in midair, but you won’t be able to reach it unless you wait for the platform to rise. Also watch out for the Boos, because they’ll make your day even worse if you don’t.

To get the Wonder Flower for this stage, proceed past the third 10-Flower Coin. You’ll see a door atop a wooden platform, but you should ignore it. Leap into the pit and you’ll find there’s an invisible floor. Go all the way to the right, climb the wooden stairs and use the chandelier to reach the second door.

In this room, you’ll find the Wonder Flower gracefully falling down to you. I sure hope you enjoyed the levels featuring the marching Piranha Plants, because this is just like it — except it’s Boos. 60 seconds will be put on the clock, and you’ll need to keep moving to the right, all the while avoiding the obstacles. If all goes well, you’ll be able to grab the Wonder Seed when there are about 6 seconds left on the clock.
