Latest trailer for Sleeping Dogs all about the gunplay

Okay, so let’s get something out of the way. That very first gun that’s shown off this most recent trailer for Sleeping Dogs, does anyone else hear that absolutely annoying high-pitched noise that assaults the ears whenever it fires a bullet? If that shows up in the actual game (which it probably will), I will refuse to pick it up for my entire playthrough. What a horrible sound.

At any rate, the rest of the trailer more than makes up for it. There’s plenty of car chases, shooting from cover, and exploding barrels. The more I see of Sleeping Dogs, the more it reminds me of Max Payne 3 in a lot of ways. Except with less painkillers and alcohol, but with way more crazy action sequences. I’m such a sucker for the explosions and destructible environments.
