L.A. Noire looks set to be receiving some exclusive content on the PlayStation 3, according to several pieces of evidence. The content comes in the form of a new mission, The Consul’s Car Traffic Case, and Rockstar itself has promised details soon.
Fans were first tipped off to the news by Amazon and GameStop, both of which feature PS3 box art bearing the legends, “Exclusive content” and “Only on PS3.” This was later followed by Rockstar Network uncovering a promotional image mentioning the content by name.
At the time of writing, Rockstar is not confirming any exclusive content, but has acknowledged that Car Traffic Case is a thing. It has stated that “more details on that are coming soon.”
While the Xbox 360 usually strong-arms itself some timed exclusives, the PS3 has come up trumps in the past with some cool extras of its own, so it won’t be surprising to see L.A. Noire following the likes of Arkham Asylum. The question is — would it influence your purchasing decision?
