Just Cause 2 ‘Boom Pack’ DLC available, sounds batty

If you thought you were done blowing the crap out of stuff in Avalanche’s Just Cause 2, you were, like, totally wrong. Because now you have all new tools to do it.

The “Boom Pack” has been released today, and it features three all new weapons… and they’re all kind of bat-s**t crazy. You’ve got the “Quad Rocket Launcher,” which is describe as “half shotgun, half rocket launcher, all carnage.” The “Cluster Bomb Launcher” is exactly what it sounds like; use your imagination. Then there’s the “Air Propulsion Gun,” which is  an experimental jet-powered weapon that fires a blast of air strong enough to send vehicles and soldiers into the air.

It’s available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PlayStation Store, and Steam for $1.99 or 160 MS Points, depending on your poison.
