The creator of the beloved saga, Gege Akutami, officially confirmed JJK’s conclusion during a Jump Press program. Akutami indicates they are working on the finale, with the manga set to end on Sept. 30, 2024. They also mention that the finale will “(probably) satisfy as many people as possible” to give the compelling narrative some justice.

Although the series had already been confirmed to end in 2024, it’s surprising to see just how fast the manga will be on its way out. A lot has certainly changed since we first saw Yuji Itadori, the goofy yet strong main protagonist. The journey of these characters has been a part of our lives for years, and now, we’ll finally know the end of his story amongst everyone else in the cast. Even more so, we’ll discover what happens to one of the series’ main antagonists, Sukuna, the King of Curses, who has frequently taken over Itadori’s body.

The JJK manga began as a Weekly Shonen Jump on March 5, 2018. It has since gained traction, especially when its anime adaptation launched on Oct. 3, 2020. The demonic saga continues to take shape in both video game and movie form, stirring up the pot even more.

Even if the manga will be concluding, the anime still has quite a ways to go. Season 2 leaves off somewhere in Chapter 138, meaning it needs to catch up to Chapter 266 in the manga. Fortunately, Season 3 has already been confirmed, so that’ll help fill the void when the manga ends.

But if you still need to prepare for Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga ending, check out the latest chapters of the series on Viz Media and Manga Plus. Just be sure to cram it all in before Sept. 30 to experience it in its entirety.
