[Updated: Now with more promotional images of Joss Stone and images from the game!]
Wii owners aren’t getting all of the Bond love with GoldenEye this holiday; Activision has announced James Bond 007: Blood Stone, developed by Bizarre Creations, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Nintendo DS.
The title will be a third-person action game penned by screenwriter Bruce Feirstein, and will feature Grammy-winning artist Joss Stone in the lead role as the latest Bond girl. Stone will also be providing original music, including at track called “Take It All” written and performed alongside Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics.
Blood Stone looks to feature both third-person action– cover-based shooting, hand-to-hand fighting — as well as racing on both land and sea. Locales confirmed for the title include Athens, Istanbul, Manaco, and Bangkok. Of course, thanks to GoldenEye, what would a Bond game be without multiplayer? Blood Stone will support 16-person multiplayer online.
So yeah… Joss Stone. Random, although it’s hard to argue that she’s not agreeable to look at, and I suppose that’s one of the criteria for being a Bond girl that she meets. Other digital sexiness in Blood Stone will include the likeness of Daniel Craig, and the Judi Dench. I’ll leave you guys to that last one.
