We’ve heard very little from Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo regarding Nioh. It wasn’t even playable at TGS, and was only there in video form. But even then, it immediately flew on my radar. I’m glad to hear that it will be arriving worldwide in 2016, though it will be a PS4 exclusive.
I’m digging the Oni designs of the enemies, and aesthetically, I’m getting [good] Ninja Gaiden flashbacks. Could this be the game to fill that hole Onimusha left so many years back? Take a look at these new screens and decide for yourself.
