Is the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 campaign co-op?

A Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 co-op campaign would be neat to have as it would give us another opportunity to hang out with our friends online. World at War and Black Ops 3 have previously featured this type of mode. Most modern entries of the series, however, don’t let you play the campaign with friends. Will there be a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 co-op campaign?

Unfortunately, there won’t be a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 co-op mode for the main storyline, at least at launch. However, there is going to be a massive Zombies mode. It will be going open world, letting multiple squads work together for the first time.

“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Zombies (MWZ) tells a new Treyarch Zombies story with missions, core Zombies features, and secrets to discover,” says the official Call of Duty website. “Ready up for an open world PvE survival experience against some of the biggest enemies in Call of Duty history.”

Are there any shooting co-op campaigns you should try?

Despite recent Call of Duty games not having a co-op campaign, that doesn’t mean there are no first-person shooters you can play with a pal. The Far Cry series is one of the best alternatives. These games let you explore a deep open world, complete thoroughly engaging story missions, and take over outposts. You can also customize your weapons to your liking and find a new arsenal in hidden spots.

If you don’t mind third-person shooting gameplay, The Division 2 is also a great option for you. You’re getting loot, following a decently told story, and defeating bosses along the way.
