Is The Crew Motorfest crossplay?

The Crew Motorfest crossplay could have you racing against friends on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC, no matter the system. It’s a feature that has brought many players together in past multiplayer games of the same vein. Is The Crew Motorfest, in particular, crossplay though?

Can you play The Crew Motorfest crossplay?

Time to get the nitro boost ready because you can check out The Crew Motorfest crossplay with your pals online. However, there is a catch.

The Crew Motorfest supports cross-platform play, allowing you to matchmake in some multiplayer modes, regardless of the platform other players are on,” explains the publisher Ubisoft on its support page. Unfortunately, this means that the game isn’t entirely crossplay.

Charlie Intel has found that only Leaderboards, Grand Race, Demolition Royale, and Liveries are supported through cross-play. You cannot explore the open world of The Crew Motorfest with a friend on another system. If there’s another entry in the series, hopefully, we can check out all of the game’s features together.

Can you turn off Motorfest crossplay?

For all major consoles, you can turn off crossplay. On the Xbox One, PS4, and PS5, there’s an in-game toggle for it under “Game Settings.” For the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, you can turn that off from your system settings.

PC players, however, are out of luck. You won’t be able to turn off crossplay. On the bright side, there is cross-progression through your Ubisoft Connect account, so you can transfer your save data between systems. It’s also great to have if you ever upgrade your PC to the specs the game requires.
