Shoot House 24/7 is your friend for now

Each season, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 releases new weapons, a new battle pass, and a higher level cap for the prestige system. With so much content to power through, one of the best ways to grind experience is playing Shipment 24/7. Unfortunately, this playlist is not in the game these days.

Is Shipment 24/7 ever coming back to Modern Warfare 2?

Given that Shipment 24/7 is one of the best playlists in Modern Warfare 2 to grind XP, it’s understandable that players would want to play it nonstop. Sadly, it’s no longer available in the game as one of the core playlists.

For those who are wondering whether or not Shipment 24/7 will come back, that is currently uncertain. It is likely that the playlist will come back at some point, but there is no guarantee on when that might be.

For reference, Shipment 24/7 was one of the first limited-time playlists for Modern Warfare 2 when the map launched on December 14, 2022. It stuck around for a while until Shoot House 24/7 took over as the main close-quarters grind playlist.

Some fans prefer one map over the other, though, and Shipment 24/7 has been gone since Season 2 Reloaded’s release. If the pattern continues, it seems possible that Shipment 24/7 will return in the near future, likely with the release of Season 3.

There is a chance that developer Infinity Ward is alternating between the two playlists every half-season or so to keep everything fresh and engaging, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet.

How to grind XP without Shipment 24/7

In the meantime, while we wait for the hopeful return of Shipment 24/7, the best option for players looking to grind levels is Shoot House 24/7. This is the counterpart playlist that features the other tiny map in MW2, Shoot House.

I would argue that Shipment is a smaller and, therefore, better map for players looking to grind levels. But Shoot House is a solid alternative since it encourages constant engagements and spawns that are within mere seconds of being in the middle of the fight.

The other alternative I have for you is to check out Ashika Island. The main map for Warzone 2.0 Resurgence is a tiny map, for battle royale standards. It encourages respawns, unlike other battle royale modes, and features dozens of players battling it out.

It is easy to find fights this way and grind out the XP you need for the battle pass and your overall account level. But if you are looking to grind specific weapons, I suggest Shoot House 24/7 for now, since it can be tough to guarantee which weapon you’ll find on Ashika Island.
