The Ultimate Team offers a web app and a companion app (exclusively available on mobile devices). EA Sports has hardly innovated these tools despite critical feedback from many users. This is where a tool like Paletools comes in, but there’s always a risk of using third-party applications.

What is EA FC 24 Paletools?

The web app is mainly used to solve different SBCs, open packs quickly, and buy/sell cards on the Ultimate Team market. Unfortunately, there are still plenty of limitations that affect its utility. For example, the method of completing SBCs in EA’s app isn’t really optimum.

To remove these limitations, some use the Paletools extension to automate a lot of these processes. While the official app can’t disregard the positions of a card while completing SBCs, the third-party extension can bypass that limitation. It also has automated pack openings, can remove animations from opening packs, and more.

Can you get banned by using EA FC 24 Paletools?

As with most third-party apps in online games, software like Paletools does violate EA’s stated rules and guidelines. As noted here in the EA Sports FC rules to know:

4. Don’t use auto-buyers

If you use any sort of in-game bots, automation, or tools like auto-buyers, that breaks the rules. Making transactions outside of the game, the Web or Companion App, or playing in any unauthorized way that gives you an unfair advantage, negatively impacts the experience of other players.

This means that yes, using these tools can result in punitive action from Electronic Arts. Despite whether other people have been “caught” or not, there are noted histories of players getting varying degrees of bans for utilizing these tools.
