Gameloft’s latest kart racer is accelerating on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PC, and Switch, so we’d love to see Disney Speedstorm cross-save support. Should we see cross-save support, you could take your unlocked characters like Stitch from the Switch and transfer them to the more graphically impressive PS5.
Can you actually take that progress from one place to another, however? Here’s what we know about Disney Speedstorm cross-save support.
Is there Disney Speedstorm cross-save support?
Gameloft has confirmed there will be cross-save support between all versions of the game. This likely includes the mobile version too.
You don’t even need to link your Gameloft ID to each console account you have Disney Speedstorm with. There’s a transfer code for account linking. It’s in the options menu. It also shows when you first launch the kart racing game on your system.
In the options screen, go to “Connect” and select “Connect with Code.” Then select “Create Link Code” on the device you have your progress on. Go to your secondary device and choose “Input Linking Code.” After typing in the number, your progress will be carried over multiple systems.
Can you buy the Founder’s Pack more than once on one platform?
Unfortunately, you can only buy the Founder’s Pack once per tier per platform if you’re planning to get their rewards before the game’s launch on September 28. You can buy all three tiers, but you can’t buy the Standard Pack more than once on one individual system. You can stack the Founder’s Pack rewards on multiple platforms, however.
“Any duplicate vanity items will be converted into Season Coins, and any duplicate characters will be converted into Racer shards that can be used to upgrade the duplicate Racer – with the only exception being Mickey Mouse,” said Gameloft in an official Early Access Q&A.
