Will Crash and friends battle on PC?

Activision has a spotty history when it comes to its releases on Steam, and that can be a concern for fans who want Crash Team Rumble on PC. For example, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is not on the platform, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 HD is still stuck on the Epic Games Store.

However, is there any hope for Crash Team Rumble on PC? Here’s everything we know from Aku Aku’s wise words.

Can you play a Crash Team Rumble PC port?

With a multiplayer game like this, you’ll want to release Crash Team Rumble on as many platforms as possible with crossplay enabled. Thankfully, the latter is supported, but a Crash Team Rumble PC port is currently not on the cards. The only platforms supported are PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Despite Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time appearing on Switch, a port of Crash Team Rumble for the hybrid system has not been revealed yet.

Crash Team Rumble is a unique multiplayer game as you’re competing to get the most wumpa fruit in a platforming area. However, there are some party game alternatives to consider while we wait for a PC port of Crash Team Rumble.

A multiplayer fighting game that’s a blast with friends is Gang Beasts. In a slapstick style, you and three others are fighting to be the last person standing. It’s comedic as you’re picking up your foes, brandishing silly weapons, and trying to traverse the creative stages the developer has in store for you.

While not specifically 3D, Runbow is an underrated 2D platforming gem. With colorful visuals, vibrant music, and intense short bursts of platforming, it’s riveting to compete with up to eight friends. There’s also a neat mechanic where the platforms change depending on the color the game focuses on.
