Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm has successfully concluded its crowdfunding campaign. The doujin fighting game raised $118,243 through Indiegogo, nearly doubling its original $68,000 goal. Publisher Nyu Media assert the additional funds will be used to incorporate lag-reducing GGPO middleware, commission new music, develop a third additional new character, and refine the existing cast.

The project certainly warrants support, coming from PDW: Hotapen, a team of former SNK developers behind the King of Fighters series. Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm is planned for a February 2014 release on Windows PC. Until then, those anticipating the forthcoming title can train with its predecessor, Yatagarasu.
