The Auction House is a very useful tool to use once you get far enough into Throne and Liberty. Whether you want to skip the grind or make in-game money with all the different things you collect, here’s what you need to know to get started.
How to use the Auction House in Throne and Liberty
To use the Auction House, you must first reach level 40 on your character. This will take somewhere between eight to ten hours if you strictly stick to the main story and side quests for leveling.
Upon reaching level 40, open up your main menu. In the “Item” section of this menu, you will find the Auction House. Here, you can find other players’ items they put up for sale, ranging from weapons, armor, accessories, and others that don’t fit in those categories.
Everyone will set their prices, but the game will also determine how many of those items are for sale and which has the lowest price.
How to sell items in the Auction House
On the same page, you will notice a “Sell” option at the top of the menu. Select an item that you want to sell and set a price. You will need to spend Sollant, which is easy enough to acquire from most in-game activities.
Your items will not be up forever, so make sure to set reasonable prices. Typically, you want to set them at the average price or slightly below to be more competitive and get some profit.
Items not sold by the time the countdown runs out will be returned to your inventory. The Sollant you spent will also be lost.
What is the tax rate?
Along with buying and selling items in the Auction House, sellers will be taxed based on the flat rate of 20% plus whatever the additional rate is for the guild that controls the server’s castle.
Make note of tax rates when receiving an expected amount of Lucent per sale. You’ll need to sell more items to compensate for potential losses.
