KAR98k

Finally, the community’s beloved KAR98K sniper rifle returns to the Call of Duty franchise. The good news is it’s easy to unlock, the bad news is it’s the Vanguard version, not the Modern Warfare 2019 version.

You can easily unlock the new KAR98K for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone by reaching Sector 5 of the Season 4 battle pass. Fortunately, it is free to unlock, so you won’t have to purchase the paid version of the battle pass to get it.

Once it’s unlocked, you’ll need to use it enough to level it up and get all the best attachments. Although it’s the Vanguard version of the weapon returning to the franchise, it’s very good. In Warzone, it can one-shot headshot down from a considerable distance, and it kills in one hit to the torso and higher in multiplayer.

How to quickly level up your battle pass

Although just playing the game levels up the battle pass, there are a few strategies to help you reach Sector 5 a little more quickly. For example, don’t forget to equip double battle pass XP tokens. They’re usually given out fairly often, so you’ve likely got a few stored up for just such an occasion.

Next, completing daily and weekly challenges, in addition to other rewards and armory unlocks, can boost your battle pass XP. Earning XP doesn’t instantly unlock items in the battle pass, though. Make sure you’re frequently checking if you’ve earned a battle pass token, and manually use it on each of the items you want in order to progress to the KAR98K unlock even faster.
